I cannot wait for you to dive into today’s conversation with Diane Jago! She’s written a book called “A Holy Pursuit: How the Gospel Frees us to Follow and Lay Down Our Dreams” I don’t know about you but I feel like the world has thrown so many messages at me through Pinterest and Facebook and random jargon in the media. “Follow your heart.” “Follow your dreams.” While, yes, I want to agree with the message, I also have to know that my heart is fleeting. These desires of my heart have been given to me by the Lord first before I could have thought them up. What does the Bible have to say about this? Dianne Jago knows lots about this topic, has written a book about this topic, and has had a few dreams shifted in her own heart as well that’s lead her to be a chief editor of a magazine, Deeply Rooted Magazine. She shares her journey of how she got to this destination. She was okay with the Lord doing something different with her life than what she would have planned for herself.
