In her new book, “Dear Daughters” she shares words of wisdom and encouragement for the younger generations and let’s just say, it will speak to all of us. We dive deep into some of the chapters and talk through life transitions, body image and other topics that just need some love from someone wiser. You’ll leave this episode wanting a mentor – no fear! Susie talks ya through your first steps in finding one! We love Susie, and you will, too!
A few things we mentioned:
First small steps to start with mentorship:
Look in your community and find the people you admire and respect in real life and close proximity.
Ask them “hey! Do you think you’d have time to go get coffee with me?”
If they say “yes,” start by asking them questions about their life.
At coffee, start conversation about making this more frequent and admiring their wisdom and input.
