Who Is Whitney

Whitney was born and raised in Dallas, TX and is a graduate of Baylor University where she studied Communication and Religion. She is also an alumna of a ministry/discipleship program called the Watermark Residency. She has spent most of the past decade in student ministry where she loves leading young people to understand their truest identity in Christ and is passionate about discipleship in its most real, and authentic form.

Whitney currently works for an organization called pureHOPE that seeks to shape a world free from sexual exploitation and brokenness. She has grown a passion for equipping parents and other influencers to lead in a sexualized culture. pureHOPE’s main message? Sex is about identity before activity, and purity is not an accomplishment. It’s a relationship with the Pure One: Jesus.

When she is not working, you will find her leading worship alongside her husband, Jeff, eating Tex-Mex with friends, running half-marathons, and hunting down every frozen yogurt place that serves cookies & cream.
