stay tuned!

Let's take a swing at this together! I'm spilling all of the secrets in my course!

The Advent season is so beautiful for so many reasons. One of my favorite reasons is that it aligns my heart and my mind to take in what this season is about: the need for a Savior in my life. Thank you Lord for sending your Son in the most humble way to meet us where we are and walk with us through life! AMEN! It can be a bit intimidating to approach Advent without a reason, an idea of how to walk through it and without resources. So! I’m sharing a few of my favorite finds for you and for the kids in your life to give you a head start!

For You

Emmanuel: An Invitation to Prepare Him Room at Christmas and Always by Ruth Chao Simons

About Emmanuel:

“If there’s one name for Jesus that captures the whole heart of God, it is Emmanuel—God with us. No other name similarly expresses the fullness of God’s eternal desire for His image-bearers. He’s always wanted us to be with Him.

Christmas Day is not the end of our celebrations, but the beginning! Emmanuel is an invitation to rejoice in the everlasting fellowship and hope God extended to us on the day of His Son’s birth, guiding us to realize that having God with us all year long is Christmas’s most incredible gift.”

Well Watered Women Advent Resources

About Well Watered Women Advent:

“When our world continues to grow darker still and all seems broken and lost, we desperately need our Savior. If you’ll join me, we’ll seek more of the light and life of Christ and his righteousness in an often overlooked section of the Bible this Advent season: the Letters of John. In the tender voice of an aging John, we’ll deepen our understanding of our God of light, love, and life.”

Unwrapping the Names of Jesus by Asheritah Ciuciu

About Unwrapping The Names of Jesus

Most Christians agree that Christmas is all about Jesus, yet most of us spend little time preparing our hearts to celebrate Him. Why is this? Partly because we don’t know how. In Unwrapping the Names of Jesus, Asheritah Ciuciu leads readers through the four weeks of Advent (Hope, Preparation, Joy, and Love). Each week:

  • Begins with an interactive family devotional that equips readers to celebrate Advent together

  • Offers five daily reflections that focus on that week’s name of Jesus

  • Includes suggestions for fun-filled family activities or service projects

Daily Grace Co Advent Resources

About Daily Grace Co Advent:

This four-week study follows the Advent calendar and walks readers through the Advent candle lighting tradition. The four candles represent themes displayed in the first coming of Jesus Christ: hope, peace, joy, and love. Each week focuses on a candle and uses passages from Scripture to show how Jesus fulfilled each theme through His saving work.
