We purchased the Owlet Sock and Camera after we heard how much of a literal lifesaver it is for newborns. We’ve so enjoyed the sock (it measures your baby’s oxygen level and hear rate and alerts you when something may be wrong). Unfortunately, we’re not huge fans of the camera/monitor. It would be great if we did since the convenience of having the app would show all of what we’d want/need to see. Here’s why we’re not huge fans:
– Have to use an app so it’s finicky if you have spotty wifi or cell service
– Since you’re using your phone, you have to exit out of the app to make a call or do anything else on your phone which means you lose eyes on your baby

So, I polled you all on Instagram and asked for your favorite baby monitors that didn’t rely on wifi, had 2 way-talk, and could add several cameras and this is what I gathered (the images below are clickable!). We ended up going with the VAVA camera and love it so far!
