Thomas and I were able to test-drive the new Toyota RAV4 for a few days around Birmingham and it’s so funny how different your city can look from a new perspective + drive. I don’t know about you, but we have some last-minute Christmas shopping to do (oops)! From grocery shopping for our third annual Christmas Eve-Eve dinner (pork tenderloin, mac and cheese, and green beans) to picking up last-minute gifts and doing some returns from my Black Friday shopping, hehe, we had a lot to do! We stopped at a coffee shop, got our peppermint lattes and were ready to go!

Let me just say, I was spoiled by this new drive! When my hands were full, I could use the back door-assist and have the door lifted for me. We were able to bundle up and stay warm with the seat heaters and the heated steering wheel and listen out to our Johnnyswim Christmas album with the Bluetooth and CarPlay features.

Surprise, surprise, my phone died mid-way through the day and because we were borrowing the car from our Local Toyota Dealership, I didn’t bring my car charger. But, Thomas pointed out that this car comes with a wireless charger! I mean, what!? So, all I had to do was lay my phone on the compartment and it started charging. I was absolutely amazed, I wish my face was captured!

Although we fly a lot, we also love driving around town and seeing new sights. But, this specific day, we flew to South Carolina for a day trip to visit our family for the day. Going from the comfort of the Toyota RAV4 to the comfort of the plane was a luxury I hope I never forget!
