hello,

Ready to Start that Podcast of Yours?

stay tuned!

Let's take a swing at this together! I'm spilling all of the secrets in my course!

Tired of the clutter under your sink every time you need to reach for dishwasher detergent pods, disposal pods, or any of your cleaning supplies? It’s time to transform that chaotic space into an organized oasis. With a few clever storage solutions, you can easily access what you need, when you need it, and keep everything tidy and within reach.

Systems (or lack of) really affect our ability to see the joy. I wish it wasn’t true but that’s where I’m at these days – you, too? When I open a cabinet and see clutter, I feel tension, frustration and immediately crave order.

What if we found these pain points, did the work + worked towards a solution so we had more brain margin to *enjoy* the things that are important to you?? 🤯

For me, it was my cabinet under my sink (and my linen closet, and my closet, and my garage – but those are for another day). Here’s where we started!

1. Dishwasher Detergent Pod Drawers:

Say goodbye to rummaging through a messy pile of detergent pods. Invest in a set of dedicated drawers specifically designed for dishwasher detergent pods. These drawers not only keep your pods neatly organized but also make it easy to see when it’s time to restock. Plus, they add a touch of elegance to your under-sink space.

2. Disposal Pod Drawers:

Just like with dishwasher detergent pods, disposal pods deserve their own designated drawers. Having a separate space for these often-overlooked items ensures they’re always at your fingertips when you need them. These drawers can be labeled for even greater convenience. These are the pods I use!

3. Tiered Tower and Shelves for Back-Stocked Items:

Chances are, you don’t need an entire arsenal of cleaning supplies right under your sink. Most of your items can be stored elsewhere, with just a few essentials on hand. Utilize a tiered tower or adjustable shelves to make the most of the vertical space under your sink. Store extra paper towels, garbage bags, and cleaning solutions in a neat and organized fashion. The tiered design allows you to maximize space efficiently. This is where I keep things like our back-stock of the hand soap we love, the stain remover we swear by, and more of our fave dish brushes!

Also, check out this garbage bag dispenser that I’m using – so chic + can see what’s in stock/when I’m running low.

4. Big Bin for Deep Cleaning Supplies:

For those occasional deep cleaning days, having a designated bin is a game-changer. Store items like scrub brushes, rubber gloves, and heavy-duty cleaners in a sizable bin with handles. When deep cleaning day arrives, simply pull out the bin and take it to the task at hand. No more hunting for supplies in various nooks and crannies!

Additional Tips:

  • Label Everything: Labeling your drawers, bins, and shelves makes it even easier to find what you need quickly. It also helps family members or roommates keep things organized. This is the bluetooth label maker that I use and love! It connects to your phone to easily type up your label and print on demand!
  • Regular Maintenance: Make it a habit to check and tidy up your under-sink area periodically. This prevents clutter from building up over time.
  • Safety First: If you have children or pets in your home, consider childproofing your under-sink area. Locks and safety latches can keep dangerous chemicals out of reach.
  • Use Clear Containers: Transparent containers or bins can help you see the contents at a glance, saving you time and effort. Plus, they are cah-uuuute.

Organizing the space under your sink with dedicated drawers for dishwasher detergent pods and disposal pods, tiered towers and shelves for back-stocked items, and a big bin for deep cleaning supplies can transform this often-neglected area into an organized and efficient cleaning station. Say goodbye to clutter and hello to convenience!
