It’s always so much fun to spoil my friends becoming mamas! There are lots of fun ways to do this that go beyond a baby shower gift but baby shower gifts don’t have to be lame and can be super fun! Here are my tricks:

1. Grab a smaller basket rather than a bag + tissue paper (save the money and skip the waste, they can actually use the basket for decor, a diaper station or organization later!)

2. Skip a card and get a cutie book that you love. Sign the inside with a sweet message or prayer for a sweet touch!

3. Add an outfit that you know is mom’s style – my trick is to grab a size larger than newborn or 0-3 months so mom doesn’t forget about it. Plus, everyone gets baby newborn clothes! Pssst: make sure it’s in season for their size and not just the season we’re in now.

4. A fun touch like a teether or a little pacifier can be a great stuffer you know mama and baby will try out

6. Depending on your budget you could add things like:

8. Swaddle blankets
