As a mama, wife, and blogger I lead conversations around the ups and downs of life, from practical tips to relatable stories that'll leave you thinking, "hey, I've been there too!"

hello,

Ready to Start that Podcast of Yours?

stay tuned!

Let's take a swing at this together! I'm spilling all of the secrets in my course!

We actually enjoy mealtime with Maddex! I think that’s because of several things so I wanted to share them with you! 1. We’ve been using the Baby Lead Weaning process with Maddex since he was 6 months old and we have loved it. If you’re not familiar with BLW, it’s a process that almost skips purées and introduces lots of ingredients offered as their normal texture to babies to help with sensory and introduce them to a variety of textures and flavors. It also means they eat with supervision but independently. We can actually enjoy mealtime with him without having to spoon feed him and try and get in a few bites for ourselves in between shovels. It’s worked for us! Check out Solid Starts (they have a great app) and Baby Lead Wean Team on Instagram for more information! They helped us figure out what foods to offer, how to offer them and the serving types to make sure they’re safe for our little man.

2. We love our set up! The products above have been incredible and have made clean up an ease and the mess a bit more bearable! Here are the links to our favorites:

IKEA high chair

Foot rest – the IKEA high chair is great for its price and how easy it is! But, it’s missing a few pieces that we found necessary for Maddex, like a foot rest. We found lots of fun accessories for the IKEA high chair at this fun shop online. Use the code RACHEL15 for 15% off!

Mess mat for easy cleanup – this was another fun find at that shop mentioned above. Use the code RACHEL15 for 15% off!

Silicone plates – great for easy clean up

Cup with lid – this one is great for teaching how to use a straw!

Utensils and open cup – baby utensils are awesome but not all created equally! These have sensory stoppers that teach them how to hold and how far to put the utensils in their mouth.

Silicone bibs that catch food – easy to clean, fold up small for on the go and they catch all of the droppage
